Each semester CNU honors all the student athletes with 3.5 GPA or higher at one of the sporting events. In the fall it is a football game and a basketball game in the spring. They usually ask the faculty to come to the game to show either support of these hard working students and so in do so, they ofter the faculty free tickets to the game. Since we had never been to a CNU football game and I have two students on the team, we decided to go to the game but leave Coley at the Stafford's. We went early to the game to check out the Catalyst Church tailgate and to hopefully buy some new CNU gear for Nate (and Jeff.) The game was a ton of fun and Nate was really hoping to catch a ball but we didn't end up with one. We stayed until just after halftime (had to see the halftime fireworks) and then headed to get Coley. Unfortunately on the way home we realized that our front driver side tire was very very flat. :( Matt and AAA ended up coming to our rescue and we thought it would be an easy fix. As it turned out the next morning the passenger side tire was also flat! I had to fill the tires with air, drive it to the tire place, then run home (in the rain), only to turn around and run back to get the car about 6 hours later. It's a good thing I was training for another 1/2 marathon!
