Ever since the kids got to spend several night at the Stafford's while Jeff was in the hospital, the kids have been asking to have a sleepover. I finally convinced Kathryn to let me keep her kids for her and since the two big kids were in VBS all morning it really wasn't that much work to keep all four of them (however I did find it extremely hard to actually finish a cup of coffee.) I wanted to make sure the kids were tired so they would go to sleep that night so we decided to get out the pool. Who would have thought that it would be June 26th before we would have the pool out? The kids had a blast however when it came to bed that night, it seemed to only tire out the little two and not the big two. :)
Trying out the slide for the first time.
The pools were bigger than I thought and took quiet a while to fill up.
Coley loved it until we put on the "sprinklers" that sprayed out of the palm trees. The big kids (and Sam) would help to cover the palm trees so Coley could still go down the slide.
And he is getting a little more daring, going face firsts.
Coley going down.
She even got her hair wet. Love this little girl!
He has gotten over so many of his fears that it's great to see him enjoying new things.
These two were hanging out inside while I was trying to convince Lisa and Coley to come in. Sam looks so happy!
And before bed we have to read a bed time story.
Best friends!
Mr. Jeff was teaching Sam how to do fist bumps and then blow them up. She thought it was hilarious!
Fist bumps!
Sam ever so patiently waiting for it to open.
Coley decided to try her hand at this patience thing.
Once we were inside there was a bunch of art stuff to do, including chalks, paints, colored pencils, and fun craft stuff.
Coley did a purple painting.
Sam tried her hand at a pink painting.
And of course we had to draw on the chalk wall.
We even did it laying down.
Sam also wanted to show how she could draw laying down.
And we worked on sharing colored pencils.
So we could draw pretty pictures.
"Hummmmm, what should I draw?"
