Race Time

Everyone knows that I like running and well so does Nate.  Last year his very first race was the Earth Day 5K fun run so I wanted to make sure we did it again this year.  This year we also decided to have Coley run the fun as well since it was only a mile.  I decided not to do the 5K this year and was thankful to run the fun run with Nate (basically I didn't want to pay the $50 entering fee...crazy if you ask me!).  We had to get up a little early and some of us were a little grumpy about it but we did it anyway. :)  I had told one of the ladies at the gym about the race since our kids love to play together and they were able to make it to the race as well.  Nate had a ton of fun running with Alycia and almost beat her (despite her being almost two years older).  Coley ran almost .75 miles and even though we had the jogging stroller she wanted Daddy to carry her the other 0.25 miles. ;)
