Day at the beach

Since we worked hard all weekend building the shed, we had to take some time to go to the beach. Unfortunately, Jeff had the awful thing called work but that didn't stop Dad, Mom, Nate, and I from taking a picnic lunch to VA Beach. This was the first time Nate had his feet in the Atlantic and well he wasn't too impressed (i.e. he screamed bloody murder!) Despite his dislike of the water he was fascinated with the sand and thoroughly enjoyed playing in it (and he even brought some home in his diaper.) We had a great time walking on the board walk and just enjoying the day. (I am amazed that it was the first time my Mom had been to the Atlantic!)
