CNU bball game

As a rule we try and support Jeff's student athletes by attending their sporting events and this past weekend we were able to attend both a women's bball game as well as a men's game. CNU was celebrating all of the student athletes that had a 3.0 GPA or higher for the fall semester and they asked the faculty to come to the game to help recognizes the students achievements. Well, we had hoped to have a baby but since we didn't I wanted to get out of the house and keep busy. We weren't sure how Nate would do but I think he is a lot like his Daddy and loves sports. During the girls game Nate sat patiently and kept yelling, "Go, Blue." He also would cheer, "Dunk It!" however both Jeff and I were skeptical that Nate would see a dunk during the women's game. :)

The women's game was great and they ended up winning. :)

Here is a picture of Jeff before shaking the hands of only half of the student athletes with 3.0 or higher...I think in all between the two games they recognized over 250 student athletes...that is pretty awesome to have that many kids who are playing sports and putting an emphasis on academics.

Nate also loved the Chick-fil-A cow that was walking around the gym. He always was asking for the cow and then we would look around and find him. Well, during the half time of the men's game we walked over to the cow. Nate shyly waved while the cow was about 10 feet away however as soon as the cow got close and tried to give Nate a high-five we had a melt down. Maybe next time...
