Strawberry pickin'

May is here, so it's strawberry pickin' time. I told Nate on Sunday night that we were going to go strawberry pickin' on Monday morning and he woke up talking about it. Then he started singing about it, dancing about it, and he couldn't wait till we went. I found out that he was really excited about the tractors because he remembered sitting on the tractor when we went to the pumpkin patch (same place.)

We met some friends at the strawberry fields and we all had a ton of fun pickin' (or playing in the dirt.)

The famous tractor

Heading out to the fields (we had a lot of kids with us!)

Nate trying out the strawberries. I think he tried probable 10 (some red and some green. :)

He did teach Lisa how to really play in the dirt. To begin with he was picking up hand fulls of dirt while she would pinch it between her thumb and index finger. By the time we left she was picking up hand fulls of dirt...SUCCESS! :)

Of course Lisa really enjoyed the strawberries. :) She did get more messy when it came to the strawberries (I think Kathryn said she had it dripped down her belly under her shirt.)

Waiting for the Mom's to put them in their car seats.
