Blue Bird Gap Farm

You know you live in VA when you are tempted to turn on the AC in December!  Well it wasn't quiet that warm but Nate had been asking to go to "Ole McDonald's Farm" so we went.  Well, we went to Blue Bird Gap Farm which is a free farm in Hampton. :)  We have only been a couple of times and Nate has loved it every time we go.  I really need to get there more often but maybe next year.  We invited some friends to come with us however with the crazy holiday season I think most people were busy.  Laura and Sarah did join us towards the end but we had fun looking at all the animals and letting the kids (ok, the one kid) run around.

Getting ready to see some animals

Looking at the goats.  Coley really wanted to pet them.  Mom wasn't too cool with that idea.

The goat that wanted to be pet.

Got to love the swings.  I think this was Coley's first time in a real swing.  She really liked it.  Nate just wants to go "faster, Mommy, faster."

"Only one hand, Mommy."

Sarah and Nate holding hands while going to visit the cows.  We have more pictures of that boy holding hands with different girls...may come in handy later in life. :)
