Time with friends

This past weekend we were able to spend some quality time with some friends from IN. Dustin, Stacy, and Addie were in town for a wedding and decided to stop by for a little bit. We had fun watching Addie and Nate playing together and the plan was that we would play Settlers however we ended up just hanging out instead. After the kids got up from their naps we headed out to Poquoson for the annual Seafood festival. Neither Stacy nor I like seafood so we both ended up eating Gyros and the guys enjoyed their crab cake sandwiches. They decided to leave from the festival grounds but we were able to capture the precious hug and kiss Addie gave Nate. :)

After they left we put Nate in the car and headed to drop off Jeff at his Echo group. Well Nate started crying and regardless of what we offered him he could not be consoled. We offered him food, drink, medicine, teethers, etc. Nothing stopped his crying. Finally I asked him if he missed Addie. He very tearfully wailed, "Yes." So our conclusion was that he was experiencing his very own first heart break!! Poor kid...not even two and being kiss and left by the girls. :)
