We have been having a bit of rain in the the great area of the Chesapeake Bay, so much so that by last night the water was about three feet from the front of the house and about 5-6 feet in the back. We decided to make the best of it, and turned the deck into a dock and the lawn chairs and logs our floaty toys. We couldn't get any good pictures last night because it was too dark but the storm was quiet awesome. Jeff was afraid the neighbor's ginormous tree was going to fall on the house. Thankfully we woke up to a completely intact house (just a few more branches on the roof and yard.) Here are some shots this morning, after the waters began to recede.
