Christmas evening we got a GREAT present...snow. It started snowing that evening, enough to cover the grass, but the next day we got dumped on. I think we had around 7 inches and some places in Hampton Roads recorded almost 10 inches!!! That is a ton of snow for this area. Of course since the cities don't really have the snow plows or crews to take care of that much snow the whole city was shut down Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. We had a blast all staying inside together and it wasn't until Monday that Jeff and Nate went out to shovel and clean the car off. Nate loved the snow and would have stayed outside all day if he could have. :) Of course they had to throw snowballs...one of which was directed at Mommy standing inside the back door talking to them...meaning it came in the house (I will let you guess who threw it!)
So it has been almost a week since we got the first snow and of course today it was in the 60s...although since it was relatively cold it wasn't until today that all the snow melted. Is it too soon to wish for some more?
