One of the nice things about being married to a college professor is that he gets spring break...well kind of (he did have to write a grant over spring break but...) So even though it was the beginning of March we were able to get a cheap hotel (read: off peak time) right on the Atlantic Ocean in the the Outer Banks. One of the first things we did once we got checked into the hotel was get ready to visit the beach.
