Nicole is 2 months old!

I can't believe it has already been two months! Where did the time go? Nicole is doing really well and growing bigger, although she hasn't caught up to her brother yet. We went to the docs on Tuesday the 12th and found out she is now 11 lbs 13 oz., 23.5 in tall and her head grew almost 2 inches! She is a great baby and brings us all so much joy. She started coo-ing and "talking" to us shortly after she turn 1 month old and Nate loves to talk to her. He especially loves it when she talks back to him. Of course she is going to be one very smart little girl because Nate is showing her everything...

...Cars, fish, tractors

He is also teaching her all about Veggie Tales and the alphabet
Of course Nicole is the only one who controls the remotes...that way we can all agree on what to watchShe LOVES the swing (thank you Kathryn for letting us borrow it).

This is one of my favorite pictures because she is so happy. She is a very happy baby and other than having some gas issues she is the dream baby.

Another one of my favorites. We were at the zoo, riding the train, and I think she looks like a southern belle pulling down the side of her hat.And of course the 2 month pictures with her "Nicole" bunny. Nate couldn't be left out so he has his "Nathaniel" bunny as well.
Finally one without her big brother.

Nicole really is a blessing. She makes taking care of her and loving on her so easy.

As far as what she is doing she is not enjoying tummy time. The first couple of times we put her on her tummy she went right to sleep. Now she has decided that since she doesn't like it she will roll over. Yes you read that right, she is rolling over. I thought it was a one time thing but she did it three times in a row. Of course we do have video of it but it was too long to post. She is also starting to drool a little bit. I remember Nate started to drool around this time and people kept telling us he was teething...8 months later he got his first tooth so I am not going to hold my breath with Nicole. She is still only going about 3-4 hours at night but I am beginning to think that she could go longer since she isn't eating much when she does eat. We will see if we can get her to go a couple of more hours here in the next week or two.

We love you Nicole Amanda!!
