Trip to the farm

Growing up we always went to the Littleton Historical Museum.  It was less than a mile from the house and we could always find stuff to do there during the summer.  We loved going and hiding in the ice house, watching the blacksmith, pretending to be students in a one room school house, and seeing all the "farm" animals.  Well, since we didn't have plans for Friday morning we decided to take the kids on a walk down to the "farm."  It was hot...read 100 degrees hot, however after a week w/o AC and then coming to a place with no humidity, it didn't seem that hot.  Jeff kept talking about how he felt like his body wanted to sweat it just couldn't.  Oh how I miss living in CO!

 My mother likes to torture us with pictures.  She has some favorite spots to take pictures and she really wanted some of us at these spots however when you have a 3 yr old and a 1 yr old sometimes you get what you can. 

She wanted the mountains behind us (and I do really like this picture).  Nate kept asking why we left the stroller and what are we doing...we told him because Grandma is crazy.  He then later said she was "Grandma Baxter Crazy."  I think the name fits. :)  We love you, Mom!
