We only got a brief look at one of the monuments but I told Mom and Dad that they needed to see inside the Lincoln Monument. Since we couldn't find a close parking spot (read: Mom was already complaining about how cold it was and didn't want to walk far), I dropped everyone off and then drove around until they were done taking in the sights. Dad agree that it was pretty awesome to see so I am glad I made them get out and look around.
