Nathaniel turned one month on Friday, so he went in for his well baby check-up. We weren't too surprised to find out he had put on some weight, tipping the scales at 11 lbs. 11 oz. While he's been bulking up, he hasn't been getting taller (just like his daddy, incapable of multi-tasking). My guess was that he was displeased with his score after 2 weeks so he spent all his effort on making up some weight ground on the average baby. Now with better weight scores, the doc, Tiff and I expect he will surge up the height charts before his next visit.
The Full stats are below:
Weight: 90th percentile
Height: 80th
Head Circumference: 60th
Fussiness: 31
Cuteness: 99
Sleepthroughthenightness: 61
Blowout ability: 49 and rising
We have some weird baby ratings here in Maryland. Probably has to do with the proximity to Washington D.C. and the government.
Nathaniel also recently lost his umbilical cord, so he is now allowed to take "real" baths. That's a good thing, because he was really starting to stink (jk). The picture of the post traumatic baby wrapped in a towel is below. He screamed for the duration of the bath, but became happy like normal when he was warmed and clothed.
